Rurutiki for a Cleaner Coastline

Rurutiki team together with family members rolled up our sleeves at Pantai Remis, Jeram Kuala Selangor for a beach cleaning initiative, a Project by Rurutiki, JCI E-Metro & iGreenWarriors. Together, we collected and categorized waste to make a tangible impact on our shores.
Here’s what we managed to clear in a hour:
Plastics (Overall): 1,967 units | 28.68 kg• Recyclable: 1,299 units | 19.5 kg
• Non-Recyclable: 668 units | 9.18 kg
Others (Overall): 573 units | 10.75 kg• Recyclable: 55 units | 2.65 kg
• Non-Recyclable: 518 units | 8.1 kg
Grand Total: 2,540 waste items | 39.43 kgEvery bottle, wrapper, and piece of debris we removed is one step closer to preserving Malaysia’s natural beauty and protecting marine life.
